Legends Hole by Hole
Hole 1 (par 4)
A nice opening hole. Aim to the right side of the fairway as this allows for the best entry to a narrow green.
Hole 2 (par 5)
The long hitter may reach this green in two, but for most, to carry the hazard is the first priority. The second shot should favor the right side of the fairway. A narrow green demands accuracy with the approach shot.
Hole 3 (par 3)
The wetlands and the bunkers come into play by protecting the long narrow green. The key to this hole is aim for the middle of the green, and absolutely do not leave the tee shot short.
Hole 4 (par 4)
A short par four requires the drive to be in perfect position to reach the green. The perfect position is just past the bunker on the left side of the fairway.
Hole 5 (par 4)
Slight dogleg to the right, ignore the water, just grip it and rip it. A heavily bunkered green - take plenty of club to carry the front bunker.
Hole 6 (par 4)
The gamblers favorite hole. Cut off as much as you want to have a shorter shot to reach the green. The best way to play the hole is to slightly cut the corner. Aim to the middle or right of the green with your approach shot because the water will come into play on the left.
Hole 7 (par 3)
This par 3 is a true test of golf. The tee shot needs to be straight and take plenty of club to carry the bunker and reach this elevated green.
Hole 8 (par 5)
A decision needs to be made from the tee. It is recommended to aim right of the bunkers. On the second shot, the premium position is on the right side of the fairway. This will leave a great angle to hit the approach shot to the small, heavily guarded green.
Hole 9 (par 4)
The drive should favor the right side of the fairway. This position creates the best angle for the second shot. Bunkers on the right protect the green.
Hole 10 (par 4)
Aim at the bunker on the left. This position allows for a clear shot to the green. The second shot is demanding, but once over the wetlands, there is plenty of room for error.
Hole 11 (par 4)
Ideal position for the drive is left of the bunker, however too far left and the water comes into play. The second shot is interesting as it requires a blind shot into an elevated green. Choose plenty of club to carry the bunker in front.
Hole 12 (par 3)
Don’t be fooled - there is more room to the green than what may first appear.
Hole 13 (par 4)
A wide fairway so hit the driver. The ideal shot is a slight draw from the tee. Nice size green for the second shot.
Hole 14 (par 5)
Another key driving hole. The golfer should favor the left side of the fairway on the drive and the second shot. A narrow green tucked in the corner to a bunker that will come into play. It is recommended to aim for the front of the green.
Hole 15 (par 3)
A deceptive hole from the tee. The green is further back than it appears. Add a couple of yards to reach this elevated green.
Hole 16 (par 5)
This par five requires accuracy from tee to green. The golfer should aim to the right of center, but be careful because water comes into play on the entire right side. The best place for the second shot is to the left side of this narrow fairway. This position will be ideal for hitting the third shot close.
Hole 17 (par 4)
The long hitters delight. Just aim for the center of the fairway and let it fly.
Hole 18 (par 4)
A great finishing hole. The drive must be long enough to get it past the big oak tree on the left. The second shot is difficult; it must carry the wetland and land on the big green. If you miss the green, miss it left.
